Women are too often absent from leadership positions in medicine as well as industry-driven activities such as skills trainings, advisory boards, speakers' bureaus and clinical research. These present important opportunities not only to learn, but to diversify scientific decision making and activate innovative ideas to improve patient care. We believe that the time has come for meaningful support and effort to change this paradigm.

Women in PH began in 2021 as a way to support opportunities for female clinicians specializing in PH, and to strengthen their professional network with unique initiatives aimed at building a more inclusive and diverse community.

Since then, we've sponsored multiple events for women to connect at conference receptions and luncheons. These unique professional opportunities have opened the door for women to build relationships and share best practices on both a personal and professional level. We strive to unite women, amplifying their voices to advocate for their collective interest.
